Project Description
The project will replace up to 77 bridges across the state.
Project Benefits
The project will improve 71 bridges from poor to good condition and six bridges from fair to good condition. Improving these bridges will support farm to market routes. Fifty of the bridges are currently posted, resulting in detours for farm equipment and other heavy truck traffic. By replacing the 77 bridges, the state will reduce the number of bridges posted or expected to become posted within the next 5 years. The project will improve the connectivity of farms to markets, by reducing detours required to bypass the posted bridges.
