Project Description
The project replaces eight bridges in Lincoln, Marion, Jefferson Davis and Walthall Counties, six of which are in poor condition with three closed and three load-restricted. The bridges represent vital connections for the region’s economic activities.
Project Benefits
The project improves six bridges from poor condition to good and two from fair condition to good and eliminates the need for load restrictions and closures. The project improves the overall condition of transportation infrastructure in the region and maintains access to life services for residents. It reduces maintenance costs.
