Project Description

The project replaces 41 bridges in northern Missouri in 17 counties that are in poor condition and load-restricted. If not replaced, more than half of the bridges are expected to be closed in eight years or less.

Project Benefits

The project will improve 41 bridges from poor condition to good and eliminate 41 load-restricted bridges. It will help improve agricultural, manufacturing and wind farm economic activities in northern Missouri and maintain access to life services for residents. The project benefits the region’s economic activities by improving access to rural Missouri.
