Knowledge Management's (KM) mission is about connecting people and leveraging the technologies that help make those connections. Key efforts are designed to streamline processes, create collaborative workspaces, and promote innovative uses of technology to share knowledge. KM focuses its work through the 22 technical disciplines that make up FHWA's workforce.

Connecting People

Knowledge Management at FHWA supports offices across FHWA to better connect people and share critical knowledge. This includes assisting with virtual engagement, managing discipline seminars, creating discipline-specific learning activities, and supporting the health of the Discipline Support System.
