The project was completed in partnership with the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) Northern Virginia District, and the Fairfax County department of transportation. The team from FHWA performed the traffic capacity analysis and the engineering design, and VDOT provided the crew for installation.

This photograph shows a woman and a man standing behind a table. The woman behind the table is bent slightly forward as she is talking to a young woman, who is on the other side of the table. Both women are located in front of a large poster, and there are various highway–related materials on the table, such as examples of rock, cement, and concrete.
