Subject: Application, LOC: Permanent Deed for ROW, Project No. ______, Name of Project, ________ County

Dear M. :

Our [DATE] letter forwarded documentation to support a requested Letter of Consent for the issuance of a permanent Highway Easement Deed to transfer Bureau of Land Management (BLM) land for right-of-way. Your office assigned serial number WYW- [ ] to the proposed Letter-of-Consent.

The right-of-way is needed for a highway construction project on State Route _____ as represented in the previously submitted documentation for preliminary engineering project [No.].

In our [DATE], we indicated that the reports and clearances based on the cultural and archeological investigations for the project, which were underway, would be forwarded under separate cover when available. These documents are enclosed: (1) "A Class III Cultural Resource Inventory" for the project dated [DATE] and (2) a letter from the State Historic Preservation Officer (SHPO) dated [DATE]. Although the legal descriptions of the road right-of-way on pages 1 and 5 of the Class III report do not include the entire right-of-way, the areas surveyed appear to have covered the entire land to be transferred in the proposed Letter-of-Consent.

Since our initial submission, an additional area has been identified as needed for the project. This area is needed to allow a ten-foot slope improvement in the following area:

Sixth Principal Meridian, Wyoming;
T__N, R___W;
Section __: [Land Description]

Please amend our application to add this additional area to the lands requested in our initial land-transfer application for the project. The lands requested in the initial application are in the following area:

Sixth Principal Meridian, Wyoming;
T__N, R___W;
Section __: [Land Description]

With our [DATE] letter, we sent you "Right-of-Way Purchase Plans" dated [DATE]. For your information, we have enclosed copies of revisions to sheets 12 and 13 of these plans that we recently received from the Wyoming State Department of Transportation.

Please contact Mr. Rod Vaughn at 307-772-2004, extension 148 if you have questions.

Rodney D. Vaughn, P.E. ROW/Env/Special Programs Engineer
