SUBJECT: Letter of Consent (LOC): Permanent Deed,

Dear Mr. Dover:

Your [DATE], letter submitted documentation supporting an application for a Letter of Consent to authorize issuance of a permanent Highway Easement Deed for right-of-way. Your [DATE] letter provided the documentation needed for the application, including the reports and clearances based on the cultural and archeological investigations of the public land to be approÂpriated. The Letter of Consent (LOC) with the enclosed [DATE] transmittal letter from the United States Department of Agriculture, Forest Service in Lakewood, Colorado provides the requested authorization. We concur in the authorization.

The authorization for the easement deed is needed to appropriate public lands for a highway construction project on [ROAD LOCATION] between [LOCATION], in the _______ National Forest, __________County. The project is portrayed in preliminary engineering project No. ________.

The permanent right-of-way needed for the project is located in the Sixth Principal Meridian, Wyoming; T__N, R__W; Section _, T__N, R__W; Sections _ and _, T__N, R__W; Sections __ portrayed on pages 1-3 of Exhibit C enclosed with the LOC. This conforms with your LOC application.

Please process the necessary paperwork through our office for issuance of the authorized permanent Highway Easement Deed. We request that the descriptions in paragraphs 4 and 6 of the standard deed for Forest Service land transfers cover all proposed uses and locations within the authorization limits contained in the Letter of Consent. The format for the standard permanent Highway Easement Deed for Forest Service land transfers is found in Chapter 20 of the Forest Service's Road Rights-of-Way Grants Handbook.
