In accordance with the provisions of Title 23 USC Section 317, and the Interagency Agreement between BLM and the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), enclosed is an application from the Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities for right-of-way on parcels described in the enclosed draft deed.
This land is not under selection and will occupy a total of approximately 40 acres, and is not subject to any and all easements, reservation, restrictions and conveyances of record.
A copy of the Finding of No Significant Impact (June 6, 2017) is enclosed.
This submission has been examined by officials of the FHWA who agree that this right-of-way is necessary for the construction and/or maintenance of the maintenance of the Federal-Aid Highway project BR-BH-NH-OA3-1(35) Seward Highway MP 75 to 90. If the use of the proposed right-of-way is not contrary to USFS management plans, please advise us and list any site-specific conditions to be included in the Highway Easement Deed.
