On February 9, 2005, Chairman Young (R-AK) introduced the Transportation Equity Act: A Legacy for Users, TEA-LU, as H.R. 3.

2003-2004, 108th Congress

The House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee's reauthorization proposal is also a six-year bill.

On April 2, 2004, the House of Representatives passed H.R. 3550 by a vote of 357 to 65.

This new set of certified factors represents the latest available data as of May 2004, and would be used by the FHWA for computing the FY 2004 apportionments upon passage of a six-year reauthorization bill.

The House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee reported out a 6-year bill on March 24, 2004.

In November of 2003, the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee introduced The Transportation Equity Act: A Legacy for Users, TEA-LU, as H.R. 3550.
