Use of Pavement Management System Data to Calibrate Mechanistic-Empirical Pavement Design Workshop

This 1-day workshop aims to familiarize participants on utilizing PMS data for pavement performance with MEPDG, conducting analyses on rehabilitated pavement designs, and calibrating models locally. The workshop was developed by FHWA Office of Asset Management, with support from the Design Guide Implementation Team. The workshop is being hosted by Connecticut Department of Transportation in Rocky Hill, CT, at the State Materials Office on September 20, 2006.

The workshop will include three FHWA instructors, four instructors from Agile Assets, and two state DOT speakers. The workshops are free-of-charge and workbooks will be handed out on-site. The workshop will include lectures and software demonstrations. Because of space limitations with the DOT training classrooms, the workshop will be limited to 40 participants.

The target audience for the workshops includes State DOT pavement management engineers, agency's pavement design engineers, and industry or academic consultants who support DOT pavement design.

Participants who are unable to travel to one of the workshops are invited to view the Connecticut DOT live webcast over the internet of the September 20th workshop.
