WA Skagit County Guemes Ferry Dolphin Replacement This project will replace five creosote-treated dolphins with steel dolphins at the Anacortes Terminal. Dolphins serve as guiding posts for ferry vessels to make a safe approach to the landing dock. $1,200,000 Ferry Boat Discretionary (FBD) Program
WA I-90/Snoqualmie Pass in Hyak This project will use state-of-the-art barrier delineators and lane markers on I-90 over Snoqualmie Pass to improve nighttime and inclement weather driving and require less repair and maintenance. $182,600 Highways for LIFE (HfL) Pilot Program
WA SR 99, Alaskan Way Viaduct Northbound in Seattle The project proposes to use innovative materials such as Shape Memory Alloy (SMA) that can fully recover its form after a seismic event. $400,000 Innovative Bridge Research and Deployment (IBRD) Program
WA North Cascades Scenic Highway Mazama Lucky Jim Viewshed Protection The project will protect and conserve scenic views from the byway near the gateway community of Mazama, Washington which serves as a gateway for travelers. $237,496 National Scenic Byways Program (NSBP)
WA Yakima River Canyon Scenic Byway Visitor Center This project will fund the construction of a new visitor center at the northern gateway to the byway at Helen McCabe Park. $796,174 National Scenic Byways Program (NSBP)
WA White Pass Scenic Byway Mossyrock Dam Viewpoint and Safety Improvements This project will enhance safety and visitor information on White Pass Scenic Byway by providing a safe deceleration lane from the highway, an accessible overlook and signage. $490,245 National Scenic Byways Program (NSBP)
WA Pacific Coast Scenic Byway Skokomish Tribal Cultural Rest Area The project will improve safety and access by providing visitor parking and constructing an accessible shelter. $360,550 National Scenic Byways Program (NSBP)

WA Engineering Assessment for Access Preservation This project will develop an engineering assessment for the Upper Hoh Road – the only road connecting Scenic Byway US 101 to the Hoh Rain Forest in Olympic National Park that was damaged by heavy storms. $200,000 Public Lands Highway Discretionary Program
WA Sol Duc River US Forest Service Improvement and Olympic Discovery Trail Access This project will improve road safety by upgrading five miles of existing gravel roads, widening, paving some segments and installing larger stream passage culverts. $980,000 Public Lands Highway Discretionary Program

WA King County Park-and-Ride Pricing in Multi-Family Developments To address a regional shortage in parking spaces at park and ride facilitates, the project will facilitate the paid use of parking spaces that are vacated during the day in multifamily neighborhoods along transit routes in the Seattle area, thereby allowing more use of public transit. $543,900 Value Pricing Pilot Program (VPPP)
WA Express Toll lanes Continuous Access Demonstration This project introduces continuous-access priced lanes, which allows paying customers to access HOT lanes from the general purpose lanes at any point for a fee. $520,000 Value Pricing Pilot Program (VPPP)
