Transportation Improvement Projects
Background
Section 1934 of the Safe, Accountable, Flexible, Efficient Transportation Equity Act: A Legacy for Users (SAFETEA-LU, Public Law 109-59, 119 Stat.1144) authorized funds to be appropriated from the Highway Trust Fund (HTF) to carry out each project described in this section.
The program was discontinued by MAP-21.
