Dear Commissioner McMurry:

We have received your May 6, 2019 letter of interest to participate in Federal Highway Administration's (FHWA's) Special Experimental Project (SEP-16). Your proposal is requesting FHWA to consider allowing the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) to experimentally assume responsibility for preparing and approving project-level air quality assessments for transportation conformity and air toxics.
