  • Annual Hours of Peak-Hour Excessive Delay (PHED) Per Capita

    (Ohio) ODOT and SCATS worked in coordination to analyze actual PHED performance data for the four most recent calendar years (2017-2020), as well as the 4 year average performance over the period. This data was gathered from the NPMRDS database, and is based upon INRIX travel time data. The Canton region's PHED remained very flat over most of the period at approximately 3.1 hours annually, so all partners felt that 3.0 was a realistic target to set for the 2 and 4-year periods.

  • Non-Single Occupancy Vehicle (Non-SOV) Travel

    (Ohio) ODOT and SCATS worked in coordination to analyze annual non-SOV performance data for the five most recent calendar years (2016-2020), as well as the 5 year average performance over the period. This data was gathered from the American Community Survey's "Commuting to Work" data. The Canton region's non-SOV travel was fairly stable over the period, averaging approximately 15.2% annually. All partners felt that a non-SOV travel target of 15.0% was a reasonable target to set for the 2 and 4-year periods.
