Structural Foundations
This technical area provides method and procedural guidance concerning the selection, design, performance, specification, installation, quality assurance/quality control, construction monitoring, construction inspection, and static and dynamic load-testing associated with structural foundations for transportation applications. Structural foundations covered include shallow foundations, driven piles, micropiles, auger-cast in-place piles, and drilled shafts.
