Background

The Division Bridge Engineer is responsible and accountable for providing technical assistance and oversight to the WA Division, State and Local Agencies on Federally funded projects for bridges, tunnels, geotechnical, hydraulics and major structures. The Division Bridge Engineer provides vision, leadership, policy direction, and assures accountability by the State for the National Bridge and Tunnel Inspection Programs. The Division Bridge Engineer promotes new methods and materials for improved performance to the transportation facilities within the state of Washington.

The Division Bridge Engineer works with FHWA customers to continually improve the quality of programs, products, processes, and services in each of his/her areas of expertise.
