Alaskan Way Viaduct Replacement Program, Seattle, Washington: The use of creative funding strategies (Local Improvement District, philanthropy, etc.) to revitalize Seattle’s historic waterfront as part of replacing an elevated section of SR99 with a tunnel, multimodal surface transportation improvements, parks and public open spaces. (2:15 pm to 2:45 pm)
