Overall satisfaction with bridge conditions

  • Visual appearance. In 2000, 75 percent were "satisfied" or "very satisfied"; 15 percent were "neither/don't know"; and 10 percent were "dissatisfied" or "very dissatisfied." In 1995, 61 percent were "satisfied" or "very satisfied"; 28 percent were "neither/don't know"; and 11 percent were "dissatisfied" or "very dissatisfied."
  • Durability. In 2000, 69 percent were "satisfied" or "very satisfied"; 17 percent were "neither/don't know"; and 14 percent were "dissatisfied" or "very dissatisfied." In 1995, 58 percent were "satisfied" or "very satisfied"; 31 percent were "neither/don't know"; and 11 percent were "dissatisfied" or "very dissatisfied."
  • Smoothness of ride. In 2000, 68 percent were "satisfied" or "very satisfied"; 16 percent were "neither/don't know"; and 16 percent were "dissatisfied" or "very dissatisfied." In 1995, 55 percent were "satisfied" or "very satisfied"; 31 percent were "neither/don't know"; and 14 percent were "dissatisfied" or "very dissatisfied."
