Strategic opportunities

The relative importance and impact on satisfaction of actions the public would find helpful. The matrix is aligned on two axes, importance and satisfaction. There are four quadrants: Communicate Strengths (more satisfied/more important), Stay the Course (more satisfied/less important), Monitor (less satisfied/less important), and Focus Improvements (less satisfied/more important). The "Communicate Strengths" quadrant contains safety. "Stay the Course" includes bridge conditions, travel amenities, and visual appeal. "Monitor" consists of maintenance response time. "Focus Improvements" holds traffic flow, pavement conditions, work zones, and community-oriented improvements.
