Decisions affected by the amount of traffic

Traffic affects lifestyle and work style choices. Sixty-six percent of respondents indicated that traffic affects their decision on when to travel and/or which roads to use. 30 percent of respondents indicated that traffic affects their decision on where to live now; 21 percent of respondents indicated that traffic affects their decision on which hours to work; and 19 percent of respondents indicated that traffic affects their decision on where to work. The source of this data is the 2000 Infrastructure Survey.
