Transportation improvements that would serve the community

Although most drive, members of the public value having other transportation options. When asked about transportation improvements that would serve the community, 70 percent responded "agree" or "strongly agree" to expanding public transportation; 69 percent said "agree" or "strongly agree" to building new bikeways and sidewalks; 68 percent stated "agree" or "strongly agree" to providing better quality traffic information; 64 percent stated "agree" or "strongly agree" to expanding existing highways, 64 percent said "agree" or "strongly agree" to offering new public transportation services, and 37 percent responded "agree" or "strongly agree" to building more highways.
