The Self-Assessment Tool guides agencies through the key areas of readiness in deploying value capture techniques in an intentional, strategic way. This Self-Assessment also provides resources for agencies interested in gaining understandings of these key areas to ultimately develop, improve, and expand the use of value capture techniques.
Upon completion of this Self-Assessment, users will have identified areas that their respective agencies may wish to strengthen for future use of value capture techniques. The Capability Maturity Matrix can then be used to guide respective agencies through the processes necessary to build capacity in identified areas and thus, advance the future use of value capture techniques.
