Exhibit ES09B is a bar graph that shows incidents and injuries per 100 million passenger miles traveled (PMT) in 2000. The vertical axis measures incidents and injuries per 100 million PMT between 0 and 1000 in increments of 100. The horizontal axis has five bars for five different modes of transit. Demand response, the first bar, had 881 incidents and 817 injuries per 100 million PMT in 2000. Buses had 235 incidents and 230 injuries, light rail had 99 incidents and 100 injuries, heavy rail had 92 incidents and 78 injuries, and commuter rail had 24 incidents and 20 injuries.
