System preservation improvements include some Reconstruction, Restoration and Rehabilitation, Resurfacing, and Reconstruction-no added capacity (now includes Minor Widening). Excludes certain improvement types such as Safety / Traffic / Traffic System Management, environmentally-related projects, special bridge programs and other projects.
