Travel Monitoring and Traffic Volume

Archived Data User Service (ADUS)

The Archived Data User Service (ADUS) provides the National ITS Architecture with the requirements for archiving and re-use of data collected for ITS operations. The ITS Joint Program Office, the Office of Highway Policy Information, and other USDOT offices sponsor a development track, which focuses on increasing the awareness of and professional capacity to implement ADUS, advancing and expanding the application of the state of practice of ADUS, and promoting the use of archived data to make better transportation decisions. In addition, the ADUS program strives to streamline federal reporting systems and performance monitoring.
