(1) The highway use of fuel shown in this table is used in the development of Tables FE-9 and FE-221 for attribution purposes.

(2) As of January 1, 2005, the United States Treasury does not collect Gasohol revenue as a separate item. Now, Gasohol is included in Gasoline.

(3) Prior year data are shown in lieu of 2019 data due to multi-year trend concerns. FHWA will re-evaluate 2019 data upon receipt of the 2020 data.
