(1) The highway use of fuel shown in this table is used in the development of Tables FE-9 and FE-221 for attribution purposes.
(2) As of January 1, 2005, the United States Treasury does not collect Gasohol revenue as a separate item. Now, Gasohol is included in Gasoline.
(3) On-highway gasoline use decreased in 2015. A new Off-highway model for data year 2015, was implemented in 2016. There was a subsequent increase in the calculated Off-highway gallons.
