Have you wished there was an easy way to improve the sustainability of your construction projects?
Are you looking for a way to guide sustainable decisions throughout the project delivery process?
Do you need to elevate the sustainable transportation conversation in your agency?
The Innovation and Sustainability Evaluation Process (INSTEP) may be just the tool you are looking for. INSTEP was developed by the National Park Service (NPS) to facilitate and encourage sustainable transportation projects. The tool encourages sustainable design practices, shares and tracks sustainable strategies and achievements, and serves as a repository for sustainable polices, legislation, laws and regulations.
Join us to learn about INSTEP's pilot used on eight diverse projects. Project participants agreed that INSTEP helped develop a higher level of understanding of sustainable practices and metrics that can be applied to transportation projects.
Presenters will include Jan Burton, Landscape Architect and Project Manager for the NPS and Will Wagenlander, Projects Manager, Lead Planner with WSP consultants.
